To do it, the methodology developed is based on qualitative research, using interviews and oral narrative in dialogue with the subjects. In this way, the research pointed out that these young people have a routine that is very linked to their condition as students, with the school and the house being the most present points in their socio-spatial trajectories. In this perspective, in general, these young people have a certain limitation for the use and appropriation of the city based on their income and race.
2025-04-02T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://revista.fct.unesp.br./index.php/geografiaematos/article/view/10318 Tactile cartography in geography teaching: 2025-02-10T15:11:46-03:00 Kellem Aparecida Rita krita4363@gmail.com Alan Alves Alievi alan.alievi@uenp.edu.br
The inclusion of students with visual disabilities in Geography teaching can be made of mane challenges. One of the most relevant is the adaptation of teaching resources and methodologies. This article aims to develop a methodological proposal for students with visual disabilities based on the use of a tactile map. To do it, we used a tactile map of the campus of the University of Northern Paraná, Cornélio Procópio-PR. It is proposed that a tactile map developed on a local scale allows the students to understand and perceive the place in which they live, promoting, in addition to accessibility, the assimilation of geographic knowledge in a meaningful and contextualized way.

2025-03-26T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2025
