We do not have the intention to deplete the theme but we point out that the reading act cannot be considered far away from the practices which confer meanings and values to different uses of language in different contexts of human activities by subjects in their different communities of readers. We rely on researches which deal with the use of Literature in classes and we point out the absence of an intentional and planned work which center is the Literature as an area related to an aesthetic and literary use which is distinct from other uses of the language, as well as the practice of ‘reading Literature’ as a different practice of reading. The data in researches point out that the communities of readers are constructed in the class context with a common and shared collection, with tastes and preferences, with ways of reading, with experienced or closer readers, with specific purposes for the reading. The data also indicate that when you use imagination and work in an oneiric manner with the way the language is produced, the reading activity in class is reduced to a reading for teach in a linguistic point of view and to transmit knowledge or ‘to create the taste’ in students to choose the books freely.
