From a bibliographical and documentary about the production of knowledge in the area of Physical Education (PE), the research finds the hegemonic presence of constructivism-interactionism in epistemological and pedagogical fundamentals of teaching the PE at different levels of schooling and in particular in early childhood education. Thus, we make a critique of such conceptions of teaching confronting them with the theoretical foundations of cultural-historical psychology and pedagogy historical-critical, especially taking as reference for analyzing the contributions of activity theory of A. N. Leontiev, outlining if possibilities of teaching activities with games in the area of Physical Education in educational work with young children.
