Abstract

Based on fundamental concepts of Historical-Cultural Psychology, we discussed the legal propositions to support pupils with learning difficulties in reading and writing, in the final years of elementary school in Paraná state public schools. In this sense, we analyzed some aspects from the normative instructions about the service promoted by the Learning Support classes of Portuguese Language and also by the classrooms Multifunction Resources - Type I. We finalized pointing advances, weaknesses and opportunities in the offering of this service.
