The case study described here in that is presented focuses on the processes of observation and assessment of children's learning. Its goal was that educators build a conceptual understanding of these dimensions and the use of tools which emphasize the learning of children. This study seeks the praxeological transformation, using the collaboratively involvement of educators and researcher to gather and organize relevant knowledge, analyze data and design interventions towards change. The framework for the transformation was the childhood pedagogy that values the voice of the child, their participatory skills and the emergence of a social curriculum. This constructivist case study uses the action-research methodology and it’s related to the project EEL/DQP. Data analysis was situated in a descriptive and interpretive approach, seeking to understand to the perspectives and practices assumed by the educators in two stages of the process.
