This paper is about an analysis of the potentials in the use of technology in deaf education, given the elements necessary for the realization of a bilingual education project (Libras-Portuguese), the scarce production in the field and the daily challenges of the so called inclusion process. For this, we present clippings of a case study that aimed to two distinct and parallel projects, but related: a description and analysis of the use of mobile computers (tablets), their implications for teaching practice in Portuguese area for deaf and hearing of Youth and Adults Education and the discussion of the processes of creation and development of learning materials for deaf literacy in bilingual perspective. The observations and analyzes indicate the predominance of the potential on the use of technology in education, including the search for an effective bilingual education for the deaf.
