This is an interdisciplinary study between Information Science and Education, which seeks to initially offer theoretical subsidies about the object of information science, more precisely for many the information itself - the recorded information, and propose the discussion about modifications in the object to the information’s mediation, going through the theoretical principles of the use of information to knowledge acquisition, as discussed in the Education. To substantiate this discussion uses the proposal of Paulo Freire, on the analysis of the construction of knowledge covered by a relationship, and this despite being built individually, just in case, in the interaction with the other. In the second instance, it will examine the undergraduate’s thesis and dissertations in education – Unesp/ Marília, in the research line of "Teaching, Learning and Human Development” through a study of citations and co-citations, in view that the interaction is needed to organize a relevant corpus or literature to the area. We will emphasize that the production of information or knowledge as a mediator or articulator between social actors in a determined context provide the construction and development of thoughts from others thoughts.
