INTERACTIVE ANALYSIS OF EPISODES OF DEAF CHILDREN IN AN INSTITUTION OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

This study analyzed interactive episodes between two deaf children, their peers listeners and a teacher of Child Education. Was based on a case study of a qualitative nature, through observation a class of Early Childhood Education at a particular institution of regular schools, interviews with the class teacher of this group of children and coordinator, analysis of Political Pedagogical Project of the institution and application of a directed activity with children. The episodes analyzed showed that deaf children develop joint activities, whether deaf or listeners, by of the use of gestures, signs and statements, because they share similar needs for interaction in the same age group. The mediation of teacher occurred mainly when using Libras to encourage the learning of deaf children. However, it was observed that the institution need to decide which approach to use for communication, if the successive or simultaneous bilingualism.
