EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND EVALUATION: A MEDIATOR ACTION

This article has as objective to analyze some practical proposals for evaluation in early Childhood Education, aiming at promoting this as a mediating action and greater reflection, able to encourage systematically and consciously, monitoring and development of the child. In this context, the legal provisions demonstrate that subsidize the assessment for early Childhood Education, their ideas and their importance in context of the child's learning and development, as well as, the practice of the teacher. Reference is made to the Historical-Cultural Theory to explain the learning process and how to accompany it qualitatively. Thus, subsequent to review a submission and examination of some evaluative work, concluded that the assessment in early Childhood Education, is a process that materializes in several actions that contemplate all the way of learning and development of the child, the teacher and the institution.
