EDUCATION POLITICS, HEALTH AND RESPECT TO THE SEXUAL DIVERSITY

The school is heterogeneous living space with possibilities of reflection on gender and sexuality stereotypes. The aim of this study was to investigate whether educational institution develops projects related to diversity. Participated 12 teachers from the public school system and private and state of São Paulo. The research methodology was qualitative and quantitative, through a questionnaire distributed to teachers; 92 % of schools of respondents do not realize pedagogical projects related to sexual diversity, 92% of teachers consider relevant dialogue on the subject, of these, only 50% are prepared to work in an environment where sexual diversity. We conclude that the theme of diversity needs to be entered in transdisciplinary educational projects.
