Abstract

This research was held in a public school of elementary and high school in a city in the state of São Paulo. The institution receives adolescents coming from different units of Fundação Casa. It was established as a central objective to analyze the teachers’ conceptions about the school in the trajectory of adolescents who infraction that remained closed system in order to meet educational measures. As a methodological resource held by the development of focus groups with six teachers and one educational coordinator of the institution. It was assumed as a reference the Theory Historical- Cultural, whose epistemological basis the Dialectical History Materialism. The results indicate that in their initial training teachers and coordinator were not included in discussions on the issue of adolescents who have committed crimes as well as the reasons that produce such situations in society. However, it is evident unison positioning by teachers to develop a welcome attitude to all students, in order not to label them and/or compare them.
